July 4th Parade

The 124th Friendswood July Fourth Celebration parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Heritage and Friendswood drives and end at Stevenson Park at 1100 S. Friendswood Drive, where the day program is held. Evening events are held at 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Park at 2200 S. Friendswood Drive. Free.

Students Win Scholarships

More than 300 anglers attended the 32nd annual J.P. Griffon fishing tournament in Port Mansfield to help raise scholarship money for 2019 graduates.
