Friendswood High’s Cheerleaders Take Second Place in Regional Competition

Friendswood ISD Cheer Team Makes Second Place

Congratulate the West Ranch community’s favorite high school cheerleaders on a job well-done! These ladies placed second out of eleven teams in the Super Large Game Day Division at the Universal Cheerleaders Association Regional Competition this past Sunday on November 3. There is nothing Friendswood High’s cheerleaders can’t accomplish under the leaderships of Coaches Jenna Crosson, Keri Yee and Courtney Stryk.

The UIL State Competition will be held in January, which gives the talented cheer squad about two months to prepare. More than half of the squad is in their Freshman, Sophomore or Junior year, which means that the Seniors in this squad can graduate knowing that the team will be in good hands next year. Cheer these ladies on as they practice for their upcoming competitions!
