FHS’s Spanish Seminar Students Spread their Love for the Language

Learning a new language has many benefits like being a better communicator, improving memory and becoming a better multitasker. Select Friendswood High School’s Spanish Seminar Students have begun to teach Bales Intermediate’s Spanish Club students basic Spanish! This experience will have an incredible impact on Bales’ Spanish Club, FHS’s Spanish Seminar and all the instructors involved.

Friendswood Junior High Student is a MASTERS STEM Competition Finalist

Eighth grader, Ganesh Venu, was named a finalist in the 9th annual Broadcom MASTERS STEM middle school Competition on September 18 held by the Broadcom Foundation and Society for Science & the Public! Venu’s project “Can Potassium Help Save water in Rice Production” discovered that it was possible to grow more crops while preserving water by increasing the crops’ potassium levels. Four Friendswood High School Students are Semifinalists for the National Merit Scholarship Competition
