POPBAR Open!

POPBAR will had its grand opening recently. New York-based POPBAR, a frozen treats shop, is poised to please at 700 Baybrook Mall Drive, Friendswood. The business serves handcrafted gelato, sorbetto and frozen yogurt on a stick, which can be paired with melted chocolate and a variety of toppings. The business also sells popwiches, or gelato sandwiches on a stick.

School District To Extend Free Lunch Program

The state has extended its free lunches program until the end of the month of October for school districts affected by Hurricane Harvey, including Pearland ISD and Friendswood ISD.
